Intellective Bio's "Commercial Antibody Drug Production Intelligent Workshop" was recognised as a "2024 Suzhou Municipal-level Intelligent Workshop" by the Suzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau.

Since its establishment, Intellective Bio has adhered to a development path of scale, automation and high quality. The planned capacity at the Changshu site is 185,000 litres, with an automation rate already reaching 90%. Once fully operational, its single-site capacity will rank among the top ten domestically.

Cell Culture Area

This area spans 1300 square metres, achieving large-scale cell culture through cell thawing, shake flask passaging and bioreactor expansion.

Formulation Area

The drug substance enters the formulation area to complete steps such as formulation, filling, lyophilisation, capping, inspection, and packaging.

Based on the culture needs of different products and the purification requirements of downstream processes, the workshop's 16 culture rooms are equipped with buffer preparation systems and bioreactor systems, flexibly meeting changing client needs.

Furthermore, core equipment in the workshop is interconnected, enabling real-time monitoring, automatic fault alarms and rapid response to abnormalities. Technicians have deployed various types of sensors (temperature, pressure, etc.) on reactors, feed tanks, and other equipment. Utilising industrial internet technology and electronic systems such as  SCADA and DCS, they can monitor critical parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow in real-time.

Data collected are transmitted to the central control center. Using computer technology and big data analysis, management and operational personnel can promptly detect anomalies in equipment operation and restore normal production.
