Intellective Bio: "Accelerating Integration, Capturing New Heights in Biopharmaceutical Industry Development"-Newsroom

In recent years, the Changshu National New&High-Tech Industrial Development Zone has closely focused on the biopharmaceutical industry, conducting targeted investment attraction and fostering a fertile environment, gradually forming a distinctive industrial cluster centred on "custom R&D + custom production." Intellective Bio, as a key enterprise in the zone's biopharma sector, has accelerated the advancement of its biopharmaceutical projects since the first half of this year. The newly built "Pre-filled Syringe Injectables" production line has become a new engine for the company's growth.

Inside Intellective Bio (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., the spacious and bright production workshop houses a clean and well-organised German B+S pre-filled syringe filling line.

This production line was completed and installed in July this year, followed by meticulous commissioning and validation in August and September and officially entered operation in November. The line is now operating efficiently, producing production for multiple products in an orderly manner.

On the screens, technicians monitor equipment parameters with full concentration. Automated robotic arms perform precise grasping and filling. Each process step connects seamlessly, showcasing the technological appeal and rigorous craftsmanship of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

"The Changshu site of Intellective Bio once set a new record for project initiation in the Changshu area – only 10 days passed from land acquisition to obtaining the construction permit. This speed was extremely efficient."

Pointing to a nearby area under construction, Sha Lixin explained: "The company is currently intensively installing two additional 6000 L drug substance production lines." At the construction site, workers were clearly assigned to different tasks, hoisting equipment, assembling pipelines, debugging circuits, with all work progressing in an orderly and efficient manner.

"The equipment installation is expected to be completed around March next year. After subsequent line commissioning and validation, commercial production is anticipated to begin by July next year, further elevating the company's capacity."

In addition to the new phase under construction, Intellective Bio has reserved space for four additional 6000 L production lines, enabling capacity expansion for clients in line with industry demand. The expected timeline from project initiation to production is as short as 8 months, enabling a rapid response to market changes.
