Exciting news! On May 18, 2023, we entered into a strategic collaboration for ADC product development and promotion of novel conjugation technology with GeneQuantum Healthcare (GQ), a global innovative biotechnology company dedicated to developing the next generation of bioconjugate drugs. 

According to the terms of the agreement, we will provide development, manufacturing, and other CMC services enabling the acceleration of GQ’s product development, up to and including BLA submission and commercialization. The complex and diverse nature of bioconjugate drugs requires a high level of expertise in conjugation methods, process development and control, manufacturing, and testing. This collaboration highlights Intellective’s specialized capabilities that address a burgeoning segment of the biopharmaceutical industry.

We have also signed a non-exclusive license agreement with GQ to use their unique enzymatic site-specific conjugation technology which may lead to improved quality, stability, safety, and potency of ADCs. Proprietary intelligent ligase dependent conjugation (iLDC) and intelligent glycoltransferase dependent conjugation (iGDC) make it possible to manufacture highly homogeneous ADCs in a continuous flow mode, improving cost efficiency. Furthermore, conjugation is achieved using one catalytic reaction with one enzyme and no organic solvent. This makes the manufacturing process environmentally friendly.

This strategic collaboration emphasizes our commitment to continuously innovate our service offerings through self-developed platforms or in partnership with companies like GQ who possess cutting-edge technology, thereby helping clients accelerate the development, production, and commercialization of first-in-class/best-in-class advanced biological products for a wide variety of indications and unmet needs.
