Mammalian Cell Expression System

Mammalian cell expression systems provide post-translational modifications that are the most similar to human proteins. The folding and polymerization mechanisms essential for preserving tertiary structure are similar, resulting in biological activity superior to prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems (e.g., yeast and insect cells).
