Upstream process scale-up

We possess a professional and mature upstream process transfer and scale-up platform, capable of scaling production based on principles like P/V value, oxygen mass transfer rate (Kla), mixing time, and impeller tip speed. This ensures comparability of process performance and quality attributes during process transfer and scale-up. Using Cytiva single-use bioreactors, we can scale volumes to 50L, 200L, 500L, and 2000L; in stainless steel bioreactors, our scale-up ranges from 3000L to 6000L.

Downstream process scale-up

Our downstream process scale-up activities address chromatography and membrane/filter scale-up.
For chromatography scale up ,it is keep column hight ,linear flow rate constant and column diameters ,volume flow rate linear amplification，the detail see below figure.
For membrane scale up ,it is keep flow rate per membrane area constant and membrane area,volume flowrate linear amplification. The strategy of downstream process scale up see below table.
